First, I think permanència here means 'residence', in the sense of 'being officially present' (Collins English Dictionary). I've seen it used that way at a university. Hence, perhaps, 'duration of studies'. So, 'You must not have already reached the maximum (exhaurir) period of residence allowed to UAB students'; but in clearer language, 'You must not have already been studying for the maximum time allowed for UAB students.' |
