Frog Explanation: I would add an asterisk to the term and then explain as a footnote that it is a derogatory term derived from the fact that some Italians eat frogs ( national cuisine ). It's a term widely used in the former Yugoslav states. By the way the English use the same term for the same reason for the French. |
