Sorry i don't speak arabic, so i would appreciate if theanswer it is also in english!

I am working on a translation of the description of various'riads' in Marrakech, and the comforts offered to guests, and i came across the work 'DERB'

Context: "the riad is located in a well litand easyto findderb" I saw some reviews with the word derb, so i am thinking itis street? road? or could it be an area of the Medina inMarrakech? If anyone could please help me? Thank you.

neutral  imane stanton: Actually in Morocco it can mean a small neighborhood and that especially applies to my beloved Marrakech. "oulad ad-derb" are the "neighborhood guys" for example.
