disagree  Mohamed Ghazal: معقودة here as in عقد العزم has nothing to do with knots or tying anything up. It has to do with determination, resolution, making up one's mind, etc. عقد الهمة is a known Arabic expression, one doesn't need context to know that there is no knots involved
