Asker: We usually use biological activity to mean pharmacological activity when describing the effect of a substance on the body, not as in this particular context. I need something that describes both energy expenditure as well as lactic acid build up in the body - biological processes seems closer to the contextual meaning, but it doesn't fit with نشاط
