Albanian term or phrase: Zr.

A man from Saudi Arabia, working in Kosova for an Islamic help organization, is mentioned with the title Zr. Is it just a typo for Z = zoti? Or maybe a short for zotëri? Newmark's dictionary says: "in Albania and Kosovo, the term was restricted mostly to formal and official address to foreigners". If so, is Zr. the accepted abbreviation? The translation into English could be Sir, when addressing him directly in speech or writing, but not when he is mentioned in a rent contract, I think.

Explanation:
There are some Albanians who think that using 'zoti' is not, religously speaking, a correct term.
For this reason, they use 'zotëri'.
To be honest, this is the first time I see such abbreviation, but given the context and the fact that he is related to a religious organization, he must mean 'zotëri' by that abbreviation.
The English equivalent would be 'Mr.'.

It seems that the title 'zr.' has been used both for foreigners and Albanians. There is a tendency in public events to use 'mister', though, instead of 'Sir'.
