It's obvious from the 5 stages listed there that this is Kubler-Ross's "5 stages of grief," expanded so as to also apply to surprising changes other than death. So, here are her 5 stages of grief: https://www.ekrfoundation.org/5-stages-of-grief/5-stages-gri...

I also did a search on the book where she set forth her "5 stages" theory: https://www.amazon.com/Death-Dying-Doctors-Nurses-Families/d...

In those sources I didn't see a set phrase that corresponded to "sidération anésthesie," but in these two stages--denial and anger or "déni-colère," as the FR text says--there were several references to shock/being shocked and to numbness/feeling numb.
