Spanish term or phrase: saquitos de ternera
This is a food item on the menu at a winery. They have produced a trandslation (looks like its been done by a non native) which I do not find convincing, " pouches of veal" To see what food I am taliking about you can click on the following link: http://www.cookbooth.com/recipe/saquitos-de-ternera-19142

veal filo parcels
Explanation:
Here are some looking almost identical, but with a different stuffing:-

You could of course modify this, e.g., something like "veal-filled filo parcels"

I think it is also helpful for the anglophone diner to include "filo"

little sacks filled with veal

Explanation:
Hola Toby, si quisiera traducir ese nombre propio, haría referencia a sacks que es a lo que se parece ese tipo de sacos, como los sacos de yute, por el color. Pouches hace mas referencia a un tipo de bolso o accesorio de plastico.

cambiaría el "of" por "with". Puedes poner solo "with" o "filled with" pero como es un nombre propio y debe ser comercial, depende de lo que prefiera el cliente, puede elegir lo más corto o completo.

puedes colocar "with veal" o "with veal meat"

Saludos,

agree  franglish: I'd go with "veal-filled/stuffed fil parcels"

  -> thanks franglish!

agree  Alex Ossa: The surname is definitely filo parcels, however you start off the name! I like veal filo parcels. I don't think it's necessary to say they are filled - feels a bit redundant.

  -> Thanks James!

agree  Charles Davis: I think it's probably beef rather than veal. In Spain, at least, beef is always called ternera, and it rarely means veal in practice. Look at the raw meat in photo 6: to me it looks a bit too dark to be veal. See what you think.

  -> Thanks Charles! Good point, I wonder if the meat in image 6 might not be what we now call "rose veal", or "young beef"... As the name suggests, it is a far cry from the white veal formerly sold in the UK from baby cows (usually bull calves).

agree  neilmac: Ditto Charles' beef. It's unlikely to be veal, which in Spain would be "lechal" ...

  -> Thanks Neil! Possibly "rose veal" (which is more welfare friendly and older than white veal...? See this Wiki entry "Se llama carne de ternera a la carne de las vacas o bueyes que se han criado por lo menos seis meses de edad ...

veal filo bundles

Explanation:
I would be inclined to call these bundles since the pastry is gathered up like that and tied with a chive or spring onion tie

Carefully bring the edges of each filo pastry together into a little bundle. Tie each bundle with a long chive. Brush filo bundles with olive oil. Bake until crisp and golden, about 15 minutes.
