Portuguese term or phrase: colégio
On a "Certificate of Completion of Accounting Program" at aa Brazilian school, Colégio "Bom Jesus", run by an order of monks. The diploma implies that this was a two-year program. My question: Is this a "high school" or something different, perhaps a program completed after high school?

secondary school; or Colégio

Explanation:
The latter if part of the name (e.g., capitalised).

If not, "sec school" is the "can't go wrong" translation, and also the right one. A specialised vocational with only short courses and not U level called Colégio can be called a sec school. More likely, a Colégio (could cover even the bras equivalente of K-12) with, among other things, such short term courses is also a sec school of sorts.
