Law/Patents - Law (general) / type of justice
Spanish term or phrase: justicia material
I´m translating a section about the role of the "defensor de la universidad" and I´m slightly stumped by this one. Could it be referring to substantive justice? I can find no clear references to material justice.

Black’s Law Dictionary
natural law.
… 2. A philosophical system of legal and moral principles purportedly deriving from a universalized conception of human nature or divine justice rather than from legislative or judicial action; moral law embodied in principles of right and wrong.

I would recommend using the natural justice for the first link, where justicia material does not include statutory laws and natural law for the second link when it can.
