La conferenza parte dal concetto che è il benessere individuale l’obiettivo da raggiungere, con una buona salute uditiva, attuando di conseguenza tutte le pratiche adeguate per diffondere massimamente le visite audiologiche.

The conference works on the principle that individual wellbeing with good hearing is the objective to attain by implementing good practices that help to promote audiology visits as much as possible.

I'm not sure about the expression "attuando di conseguenza" and whether/how it links the ideas in this sentence.
How could I get around this expression to make the translation clear?

translation is absolutely fine. It is the Italian version that contains an anacoluthon, an error more and more frequent also in written language. Most Italian people wouldn't even notice, but when you have to translate it, it does sound wrong that the gerund (attuando) doesn't refer to any previous subject.
