Resin reinforcing machine/line/system
Explanation:

Resin reinforcing line The new technology, tested and offered by Socomac, uses a radio frequency drier with an operating principle similar to that of a microwave oven.
Processing is done in-line. Slabs are automatically taken from the yard and positioned on a roller table. They enter the drier, which has shutter entry and exit openings, either on roller tables or on special tables. They stop in the drier and exit when they are dry. The complete cycle time, including entry and exit, varies from 2 to 2.15 minutes.
At the end of the programmed time period the drier turns off and the slab is changed.
Generation of Radio Frequencies immediately causes water and humidity inside the slabs, and consequently in its cracks, to boil and evaporate. This takes place on both sides which is fundamental for totally eliminating water from cracks, water which would not permit the resin filling, and to optimize adhesion between resin and the walls of the crack.

Resin reinforcing line (detail)

From trials we have effected at our customers', we have verified that the quantity of water evaporated with this system is double compared to the hot air system, by using much less power.
Slabs, once they have come out from the drier, are picked up by an automatic sucker system and deposited one by one on tables lined with a soft mattress to adapt to any planarity defects in the slab and to prevent, because they are non-stick, resin that comes through the cracks from attaching to the table.
These tables with slabs travel on chain conveyors to stations where the resin, and if necessary the net, are applied. Normally this process is done by hand to best check and fill the fractures.
