changes in taste for Explanation: I'm pretty sure this refer's to people's taste FOR sherry, not the taste of sherry -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 mins (2012-01-08 21:06:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Changes in consumption levels/habits and people's taste for sherry..." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2012-01-08 21:17:28 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Personally I don't like that "of... for..." construction, it's a bit clumsy, but not incorrect. And "sherry" (singular) is best as it's a mass noun. "Sherries" (plural) would only be used when referring to a) various different brands of sherry, or b) several glasses of sherry ("I had too many sherries last night"). Here, if I'm not mistaken, "los vinos de Jerez" refers to the type of wine as a whole. |
