non sono sicuro al 100%. Non è troppo lontano dal significato comunque. Sfumature sarebbero "calciare troppo lungo" o "calciare fuori bersaglio".

Ho lavorato per la Uefa circa 6 mesi, non dovresti sbagliare troppo :)
