This is an article about shoreline sand waves on curvilinear coasts. I know that "flecha" is "spit bar", but I am not sure about "frente de avance". Here is the context:

En este artículo se propone un modelo analítico para explicar la formación y evolución de ondas de arena en frentes de avance de flechas con cambios significativos en la alineación de la costa [Δδ> (π/4 - π/3)] y una relación entre el radio de la alineación media de la línea de costa y la anchura media de la zona de rompientes R/b ≈ 1-10. Estas ondas de arena parecen estar desencadenadas por el efecto simultáneo de la convergencia local de energía (inducida por la morfología de la costa) y la oblicuidad del oleaje incidente.

Explanation:
I couldn´t think of any literal translation of this term, but it seems to me that "frente de avance" just seems to be where the spit bars are forming-just a guess.
