прилов м. Часть улова, состоящая из рыбы ниже установленных промысловых размеров.

Example sentence(s):

Побочный улов -- часть улова, которая случайно попадает в рыбацкие снасти во время вылавливания тех видов морской или речной фауны, которые были первоначальным объектом лова. Противопоставляется полезному улову.
