circuit frigorifique Explanation: I am very unsure of the actual term here, but I think this is the intended idea: 'a supply of something cold' or 'something carrying cold...' It's nothing to do with offering a refrigeration service. 'services' is a common way of referring to systems providing gas, water, compressed air, vacuum, etc. Here, I think it bascially just means 'circuits carrying a cold substance' — might be chilled water, refrigerant, liquid nitrogen/oxygen, etc. etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2009-09-15 17:31:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- No, you're right, Lionel. I must admit, I would interpret 'cold service' as being things that are deliberately cooled</I>, rather than just fortuitously so (like DCW) — however, there is certainly a lot of margin in this term, in which case, no, I don't think my term could apply. |
