Law: Contract(s) / invitation to tender
Italian term or phrase: acquisizione in economia
This text relates to a tender procedure for a system for carrying out tests on rocks put out by the University of Padova. The terms appears as follows "La procedura sara esperita mediante acquisizione in economia, previa gara ufficiosa..."
I just don't know what "in economia" means here. Does it refer to services paid for on a time basis, or is it simply a contract managed by the University? The text says that the only acceptable tenders are "offerte in ribasso" - is that relevant?
Any help gratefully received.
