"Artistic" is an adj. and means "done in an artistic manner not "a critique of a work of art (arte). I would also avoid "criticism" which means not an evaluation of something but "disapproval" of it. In that case (and I think Robert agrees) you wouldn't say, "She published an art criticism of the painting"--rather "she published a critique of the painting" or "an art review of the painting".
