I forgot to add the settings file to my editing project, and discovered it when I had completed the editing and delivered the files. So now I need to create a new project where I begin with importing the settings file into the project. Then, I have the original TM with the original, faulty translations that I edited, and I have my own updated TM with the changes. I also have the original 97 SDLXLIFF files with the faulty translations and my own updated 97 SDLXLIFF files with my changes implemented. So, from here, how should I proceed to implement the changes I made earlier into this new project's SDXLIFF files and TM?

Some ideas I have:

1. I replace the TM with my own TM with my updated changes and work my way through the 97 SDLXLIFF files segment by segment and copy and paste from the TM window into each segment (if the tags are displayed now that the settings file has been imported).

2. The best option (if possible): Now that I have created a new project with the settings file imported, I just add my old updated SDLXLIFF files with my changes implemented and pre-translate these so the "no-trans" tags get implemented.

3. I use, somehow, Match Repair or Penalties and then do the batch task Pre-translate after I've replaced the TM with my old TM that contains all my updated changes.

It was a very large project where I made changes in a lot of SDLXLIFF files from almost 10,000 comments in a PDF file. I worked my way through the comments in the PDF file one by one. The original translator had made a very bad translation, and my task was to implement the reviewer's changes from the inserted comments in the PDF file, mainly a copy and paste task.

Then, after delivery, it turned out I had forgotten to apply the settings file for the tags: SettingsWithGUI.sdlftsettings

There are 97 SDLXLIFF files and around 20 "no-trans" tags per file, usually found at the beginning of the xml.
