New? Jul 27, 2020

You're hardly new if you've been here 18 years.

And while we're about it..... Jul 27, 2020

Would you also like me to come over to your house and do the cleaning for you?

Yes, indeed Jul 27, 2020

A strange question for a translator who is here since 2002.
But, even a new translator is capable of filling his/her profile, no? It is something that no one can do it except you.
Pherhaps, I am missing the point.

I agree with Esperantisto that reading that URL would be one of the first steps. It explains many things.

If your newly joined colleague doesn't want to read a long page first, then I suggest that they use either of the two profile updating wizards:
https://www.proz.com/profile-completion?eid_s=00000
https://www.proz.com/settings/freelancer?eid_s=00000 (where 00000 is the member number)

Here are two useful videos:
http://www.proz.com/videos/224-getting-the-most-out-of-your-prozcom-profile-a-love-story
http://www.proz.com/videos/388-profile-completion-20

If your colleague is willing to read short articles, try this list:
https://www.proz.com/translation-articles/categories/ProZ.com-Site-Features/
(some of the articles are a bit outdated)
