Hi Folks again!

Thanks a lot for your information in the other \"music\" thread.

Finally I found a lot of MP3s for downloading.

I´m using Nero Burning Rom for CD recording.

Hi Folks again!

But nevertheless on some recordings there should a \"flying\" track-changing (Jean Michele Jarre for example). But if recording MP3 on CD even without any space between them there is still a break when hearing.

Is there anybody who knows how can I manage this problem? Shall I edit the MP3s before recording and make one track of them, setting only marks for each titl? And if yes, what kind of software shall I use? Cool Edit or is there something like that for free?

Many thanks

Jerzy

Use "Feurio" Sep 29, 2002

Feurio is a great CD-burner program and it allows track editing (and it\'s free). You can avoid gaps on there if you edit the tracks beforehand. http://www.feurio.com/

Have fun!

There are new options, colleagues. Have you ever tried Spotify?

I can't believe anyone is still taking the time to make CDs ! On Spotify you can find *everything* for a very modest monthly fee.

My experience with media conversion software is that they come and go, i.e. what used to be a reliable tool in one year becomes broken in the next year, only to be replaced with another tool. Also, many media conversion utilities ship with malware or adware, so one has to be careful.

Making CDs from Spotify appears to be an option, yes:
https://www.noteburner.com/spotify-music/download-music-from-spotify-to-mp3.html
https://www.noteburner.com/spotify-music/burn-spotify-music-to-cd.html
...although most sites about this issue recommend first converting from Spotify to MP3, which brings us back to the original poster's original question: how to burn MP3 to CD.

I find that CD/DVD burning software suffer less from malware, and many such utilities can also convert from MP3. I have used CD Burner XP for many years and I can still recommend it. The web site says "audio-CDs with or without gaps between tracks" but I can't vouch for that.

By the way, Feurio is still available for download, and appears to work on Windows 10:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160609072013/http://www.feurio.com/

Acoustica's MP3 Audio Mixer is also available and works on Windows 10:
https://acoustica.com/legacy
When it runs the first time, it shows a demo of how you can merge several MP3 files into one, with fading etc., which is one way that one can use to create endless audio. It doesn't appear to have CD burning capabilities.
