It seems like a city name.
I am translating this word to Japanese. Japanese has a tendency to adapt the orininal language's pronunciation.

Can you help me?

Aligato!

I've never been there. But I have an impression from the literature I am translating that Norway has beautiful nature, art, technology, food (of course), towns, and people!
