Hi,

Every time I start my new HP PC, I get a message DISCOver
socket initialization failed.
It does not seem to affect anything. I just close the small message window and everything works fine, but the mystery remains....
I recently installed MCafee antivirus. It seems related timewise...
Should I worry and take (what) action ?

In such case, by typing your error message in Google (between brackets) you usually get a lot of info.
