I am proofreading a translation and need to make corrections to text in a MergeField. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, as I have not been able to find the way. This is rather urgent.
Many thanks,
Susana

Answering my own question...

I was able to figure this out. By selecting the MergeField and right-clicking on the mouse you get a drop down menu. Select "Toggle Field Codes" and the text appears for editing. Select "Toggle Field Codes" once again when you're done editing.
Hope this helps someone down the line
