How do I delete a tag in TagEditor?

Hello all,

I have a problem with TagEditor. Apparently, there is an end tag that doesn't have a matching start tag. I found it and it's one that's not in the text itself. It's next to one of those "paragraph" tags. Problem is it cannot be removed. I don't even know how it got there in the first place since I haven't been able to add another tag.

I have a problem with TagEditor. Apparently, there is an end tag that doesn't have a matching start tag. I found it and it's one that's not in the text itself. I tried deleting it or adding a start tag to go with it but I can't do either. That's the one thing that's keeping me from converting the ttx file to .doc and I honestly don't know what else to do.

Any ideas?

Hi Gabriela,

Try: Tools > Options > Protection and uncheck ‘Protect document’. That ought to do the trick!
