This is a useful (window) free download that allows you to set a hotkey to auto replace text with larger strings or content. For instance rather than type http://www.proz.com/translation3 over and over again I made it a hot key Capital T followed by 3

I have made many web address, my signature, and other text I find myself typing over and over in to hot keys. I even made a large introductory email that I had been using as a template (copy paste) into a hotkey. The replace is text only, but will properly create hyperlinks.

Might be useful for those that end up typing the same stuff over and over. It seems to work within any window, text entry form so I assume it would work within translation environments and CAT tools.

I use MS Office (e.g. Word, Outlook) to set autokey functions/templates and copy to many applications. It works well with both texts and hyperlinks.
