How to stop Outlook Express wanting to compact messages

There is an extremely annoying glitch with my computer: OE is constantly asking me if I want to free up disk space by compacting messages.

This seems to happen every few minutes, even after I have actually compact them.

Does anyone know how to turn this off please?
