Hello and a Happy New Year to everyone!
I hope I have chosen the right forum for this question.
My hosting company has been taken over by a large international corporation which immediately doubled their prices. I'm looking for a new hosting company, preferably (but not necessarily) a smaller, maybe UK based business. My website is extremely simple so I'm only looking for a basic package. Do you have any recommendations?

I use Namecheap Jan 6

I've been very happy with Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com/ ) (since I left GoDaddy a few years ago). They aren't exactly a small company, but the support has been excellent, and the price is right.
