The November 29 Madrid pow-wow was conceived on the spur of the moment, with Patricia Posadas deciding to make a trip across the French border to come and see friends and relations in Madrid. It was not originally going to be official, but we soon found that more than one Prozie was willing to travel to Madrid on that day for a get-together.
The upshot was a mileage record-breaker for Spain. Rub�n Berrozpe came in from Barcelona, Jos� Manuel Malag�n from Sevilla, Alicia Jord� from Alicante, Andrea Torre and In�s Sancho-Arroyo from Bilbao, and Mar�a Jose Belarra from Zaragoza. On the locals' side we had Susana Costa (Portugal, but a current resident), S�bastien Pruvost (France, but ditto), Marthe Lefebvre (Canada, but likewise) Soledad Alferez, Rub�n de la Fuente, and PW regulars Hans G�rtner, Guillermo de la Puerta, Pablo Villadongas and Ram�n Somoza.
The group met at the Puerta del Sol, in keeping with "tradition", and proceeded to San Bernardo for a long lunch. Topics dealt with almost everything of interest, from rates to laws and tax issues, administrative matters, interpretation, specializations and other matters. Towards evening, the venue changed for coffee, where conversation continued while other members disbanded on account of other commitments.
