I was born in Almería (Spain) and after finishing the secondary school, I moved to Granada (Spain) to study at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting. In my fourth year, I was studying in Poland for 10 months and thanks to that, I developed my intercultural and communication skills. In my last year at the faculty, I specialised in sworn translation and I obtained the certificate of sworn translator of English by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. Having finished my degree, I was interested in this field, so I decided to continue my studies with a Master’s Degree in European Law. That provided me with an in-depth European Union background.

Once I have completed my studies, I started to work as a freelance translator in October 2013. Since then, I have translated a wide range of texts, some of them related to my specialisation and others in different fields such as cultural, medical, technical…. On the other hand, the hotel and tourism industries have always appealed to me, so I was working in these fields for one year, which has allowed me to develop better organisational skills and ability to treat with the public.

At present, I devote my time to translate as a freelance, which is one of my great passions, and to keep training and studying, since in my opinion, that’s the key to professional success. I consider myself a responsible, creative person, but particularly demanding with myself. For that reason, I always try my best to get a good quality target text for clients.
