After a career in chemical research and teaching spanning the UK, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland, I moved to Spain in 2007 and started work as a freelance translator and literary agent. I have translated a wide variety of material from French, Spanish and Catalan into English, including:

I am an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and abide by the RSC Code of Conduct and Guidance on Professional Practice in my translation work, as well as the Chartered Institute of Linguists Code of Professional Conduct.
