Despite my current and recent experience related to translation, which has more to do with tourism, journalism and business areas, at university I specialized in economic and legal translations. In 2007, moreover, I took a post-graduate course to specialize in medical translation. My passion, though, is literary translation.

My contribution to your company would be my experience as a freelance translator, which means the ability to work in several projects at a time, likely involving more than three languages, the ability of meeting deadlines, no matter how tight these are, a highly developed sense for order and organization and detail oriented competences, among others. Besides, as a freelance translator, I am used to adapt easily to changing unexpected circumstances and feel comfortable working without close supervision and don't care taking the initiative when necessary.

Besides, thanks to my wide experience in English teaching I gained and developed to the full some very valued skills: tact, diplomacy and patience.

On the other hand, my year working for the Industry and Commerce Chamber of Soria made me develop my administrative skills, as well as my team-work and organizational skills.

And above all, yes, I translate for a living, but translation is also my hobby. A translation project always means to better myself both personally and professionally. It opens a wide range of possibilities, a new world, and I believe it really enriches my background, no matter the topic it is about, so I continue learning.
