I am a multilingual British citizen with 15 years of professional experience in foreign language communication.

I hold a BA Honours Degree in Modern Languages (French, German and Spanish) of which technical translation was an integral part; SAS Swedish as a foreign language; and a diploma in graphic design.

My professional experience spans from european sales and marketing positions in the IT industry to language teaching (corporate and secondary school); from in-house translating to the promotion of royal charities abroad. I have worked as European Assistant at the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, where interpreting, translating and copywriting were integral to the position. I have taught business English to Ericsson and Ikea employees in Sweden; I have worked as Spanish teacher at a private secondary school in Stockholm; and I have taught English to trainee teachers and telecommuncations students at the Univerity in Santander (Universidad de Cantabria). I also have several years of experience in european sales and marketing and account management positions at NetObjects ltd, Traveling Software ltd, Telia Promotor Infovox AB and AddTrust AB.

I feel that my experience in international business and language teaching together with my educational background gives me a high level of competency when providing translation and copy-editing services.

Apart from languages, my other passions are design, rollerblading and live music!
