He Xianbin


He Xianbin, Ph D in English linguistics and literature, is an associate professor inGuangdong Polytechnic Normal University, China, and academic visitor in Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies, the University of Manchester, from 2005 to 2006. He has published extensively in over 10 different academic journals, including International Journal of Translation, Journal of PLA University of Foreign Studies, Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, Tianjin Foreign Studies University Journal, Journal of Sichuan International Studies University, Chinese Science & Technology Translation Journal, Journal of Xi'an International Studies University, Teaching English in China Shanghai Journal of Translators for Science and Technology, and Foreign Languages and Translation. He is also co-editor of A Dictionary of Translation Studies published by Shanghai Foreign Languages Education Press in 2004. His research areas are a cultural approach to translation, and Chinese and Western translation history.
