Quotations as well as turnaround times depend on various factors such as format, technical complexity, target language and availability of specialist resources etc
Translation procedures:
You submit the document or URL for translation to us and receive an acknowledgement mail detailing the expected delivery time.
The document is allocated to a subject specialist within our team of professional translators. Our translators can handle on average 1500 to 2500 words per day, and proofreaders between 1500 and 2500 words per hour (this only applies to Web-lingo approved translated documents).
To ensure the quality required for publishing and printing, we recommend that translations be proofread by an independent proofreader. Please state whether this is a requirement when posting the project. Depending on the area of specialization, some clients also include a validation/editing phase.
When translating technical manuals, we form a team of translators, proofreaders and editors, who work closely with our DTP and quality control departments, to ensure the final translated and localised product is ready for publishing and printing.
Finally, the translation undergoes a quality check and is returned to you by email. If files are too large (more than 5 MB), they can be made available for download from our website. Files can be delivered in Adobe PDF or whichever format you require (Ms Office programs, CorelDraw, Corel Photo-Paint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, QuarkExpress, etc).

Web-site translation: With only a small percentage of the world being English-speaking, it is had become imperative to have ones web-site translated into target market languages in order to gain a competitive edge.

In order for Web-lingo to translate your website, you need to supply the copy to be translated in either HTML or text format. This will allow us to make effective use of our existing glossaries and terminology management tools, in order to avoid charging you for repetitions. This also helps avoid the risk of the translator missing source text.
