I was born in Canada to Czech parents and grew up in a Czech-speaking household.  My extended family lives in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.  I spend a part of every year living in Prague and I have been a fluent Czech speaker since childhood. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature & Theatre Studies (CAN), a Masters Degree in Visual Performance (UK), and a TEFL Certificate from TEFL Prague (CZ). 

I am a theatre artist and writer, so my translation experience is in the arts sector.  I have worked on bilingual theatre productions and texts for the theatre for many years and I am passionate about anything to do with culture and travel.  I am cosmopolitan as I have lived in various cities in Canada, the US and the UK over the years.  I have a strong work ethic.
