I have an MA in Theology from Heidelberg University, Germany, and an MA in History from Frankfurt University, Germany. I spent two academic years at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, where I studied theology in Dutch. I also did some courses in computer programming. I have been living in Belgium for thirty years, where I have been heavily involved in adult education (teaching German as a foreign language in the European Commission, the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union and large multinational corporations in Belgium).
