Bio

        Hello,

   My name is Max Yеfremov, I am a freelance translator and interpreter of English, French, Ukrainian and Russian languages, residing in Kyiv, Ukraine.

   I graduated from Kyiv Institute for the Humanities (degree in English and literature), KROK University of Economics and Law (degree in quality, standardization, certification) and for several years studied in Kyiv National Linguistic University (French language and literature).

   My work experience as a translator: over 12 years.

   My fields of competence are diverse: 

- technical (guidelines, manuals, reports, specifications etc);

- medical (medical reports, guidances to medical equipment, instructions  for healthcare products etc); 

 - legal (statutes, contracts, agreements, certificates, diplomas, passports etc);

- subtitling (films, animated cartoons, TV series, interviews, TV programs);

- gaming (slots, card games, casino games, PC games);

- marketing (advertising texts);

-tourism (articles about cities, places of interest and places of resort etc);

- IT (translations for full-stack web developers dealing with HTML, CSS, Java Script etc);

- standardization, quality management, certification (national and international standards).

   I work with CAT-tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Memsource and specialized applications such as AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, etc. I am ready to work with any other CAT-tool or software proposed by my clients as well.

    My rates are € 0.07 – 0.09 per source word for translation and € 0.03–0.04 per source word for proofreading.

    I accept payments via PayPal, Skrill, Transfer Wise or bank transfer when translation is done.
