I am a cloud-based freelance proofreader and copywriter in UK English, with a technical translations agency background and 13 years’ experience in copywriting and proofreading (LQA/final eye/LQS/language lead) in British English. I am also a CIM-trained marketer with both an Advanced Certificate and a Diploma in Digital Marketing under my belt. I work almost full time for a large UK advertising agency, both as a copywriter and senior proofreader (my main job). In addition to my other skills, I am a traditional artist and illustrator, working in all kinds of media, from pen and ink to oils. And last but not least, I have considerable experience as a project manager working with all types of clients – from worldwide family history societies to translations agencies.

I am a rock drummer, play euphonium in a local brass band and violin, charango and classical guitar. I love cooking, gardening, classic cars, learning new skills and making stuff (mainly crochet). I can speak Japanese but not well enough to become a translator...
