neutral  Roxanna Delgado: Carlos, aunque tu punto sobre el prefijo "pio" es correcto, me parece que en este caso es parte de la palabra "hidropio". En google hay solo 14 hits para "hydrops-like cholecystitis" y todos (los 14) son sobre un mismo caso en un niño con VIH.

  -> Bueno, igualmente en Google sólo aparecen 6 hits para hidropiocolecisto. "Hidro" y "pio" son 2 prefijos combinados. La idea es que se trata de una colecistitis con hídrops (piocele). Otra combiación válida también puede ser cholecystitis with/and hydrops.

"Hydrops" y "piocele" son dos entidades diferentes. En la primera el líquido que se acumula es claro y acuoso, en el segundo caso es purulento y localizado en el escroto, no en la vesícula biliar.
