100% plant / vegetal Explanation: When referring to a fruit, it would be translated as Plant. Though a fruit is not specifically a "vegetable", it is still a part of the mundo vegetal or plant kingdom. Another possible way to translate it is as 100% vegetal, as vegetal is: "Of, relating to, or characteristic of plants." http://www.thefreedictionary.com/vegetal -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 mins (2010-08-23 20:36:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Simply translating it as 100% fruit is also a good option, though in this case it seems plant fits best. |

100% vegetable Explanation: "As an adjective, the word vegetable is used in scientific and technical contexts with a different and much broader meaning, namely of "related to plants" in general, edible or not — as in vegetable matter, vegetable kingdom, vegetable origin, etc." However if the extract is actually a dietary supplement, then you could of course use "herbal". Reference: 100% fruit juice Reference information: I agree with Taña. If this is a juice, it would be 100% fruit juice--that is what I always see on bottles. I'd need more context to venture this answer, though. Is it a juice? |
