Spanish term or phrase: raciones
I see this one has come up before and was unresolved. I have a heading on the menu "raciones y tapas". I'm tempted to leave it as just "tapas" but am aware that raciones and tapas are not really the same thing. Any ideas?

Tapas and dishes to share.

I would leave "tapas" as it is. Raciones are usually ordered to be shared, instead of getting individual tapas.

portions/raciones

Explanation:
I would leave "tapa" as it is. As I see it, a portion "ración" is a slighly bigger dish than a tapa and you sit down to eat it.

Tapas (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈtapas]) is the name of a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine.

The culture of raciones is very similar to tapas, but you usually sit down and order a selection all at once to make a meal of it and the raciones are a full plateful of food rather than a small snack.

Explanation:
An idea, giving a bit of the cultural background as well!

The problem is that in the UK, the tapas bars which have become so popular actually serve raciones/medias raciones, thereby thoroughly confusing the issue. Plus the fact that the tapas ethic varies around different areas in Spain. I am lucky enough to live in a city (Avila) where you are offered a tapa (normally of your choice) free with your drink in normal bars. ;-)

Explanation:
I'd leave the Spanish too as pretty much everyone knows what tapas are and little by little can get used to seeing "raciones" as well.
