Completion Status: finished high school coursework and completed high school exit exam Explanation: another idea In order to earn a high school diploma in some states in the U.S., a student must 1) complete the required coursework with passing grades, and 2) take and PASS an exit exam. When successful, they are awarded their high school diploma. It is a controversial regulation being debated in the courts. More than 4,500 high school seniors can breathe a sigh of relief. They have passed the California High School Exit Exam and will receive their diplomas with their classmates.....
