Does anybody know how this is called in English - if ever there is an English (U.S. or Australian) version of it ?
Here is an explanation of what it is in Italian:
"cosa è: è il certificato che contiene le seguenti informazioni anagrafiche: residenza, cittadinanza, stato civile, esistenza in vita, anagrafico di nascita.
come si fa per ottenerlo: il richiedente deve presentarsi con un documento di identità presso gli uffici anagrafici. Può essere richiesto anche per altre persone.
quando è sostituibile con l'autocertificazione: sempre. (Modulo autocertificazione).
chi lo rilascia: l'Ufficio Anagrafe (salone certificati, piano terra v. Larga 12 (tel. 0288462120), tutte le sedi anagrafiche decentrate e il servizio telefonico."
I don't think that there is a single official document that has all this information on it. There is a need for supplementary documentation such as: Birth Certificate and ID Card or Passport.
