neutral  AnaAngelica Amador: En Puerto Rico, sólo se les dice "licenciados" a los abogados. Los Ingenieros, Contadores y demás personas con estudios doctorales se llaman por su título.

Viene del inglés ("Certified Public Accountant") y ha sido adaptado al español, manteniendo las mismas siglas y llenándolas con algo que dé un sentido similar. Son los que auditan los informes financieros de las empresas (sobre todo de las S.A.).

Estudio una maestría en administración financiera en Guatemala y tengo un montón de compañeros que son CPAs, entonces esta información es 100% fiable.
