Muzyk jest wykonawcą, lecz nie jest autorem muzyki ani tekstu. W innej części umowy jest zapis, że dla oryginalnych utworów lub oryginalnych aranżacji tradycyjnych utworów należy zawrzeć odrębną umowę. Umowa dotyczy wydania i dystrybucji. Nie ma mowy o ZAIKS-ie ani innej organizacji reprezentującej muzyka.
