I'm translating a report by an orthopedist from Mexico. This is in his Review of Systems section, and he is using this word repeatedly in ways that I haven't seen before:

Neurologico: sin agregados
Gastrointestinal: sin agregados
Urinario: no refiere agregados
Cardiorespiratorio: sin relevantes agregados

We usually see "agregados" when a doctor is talking about adventitious breath sounds or added heart sounds. Here the doctor just seems to be saying "nothing to report"

Am I missing some special meaning of this word here? How would you translate these phrases?

(Later under Torax we have "sin involucro" and "sin afección" for the Abdomen ... I've never seen findings written like this before. )

Your (double) question was “sin agregados” and ‘ Am I missing some special meaning of this word here? ‘
I just provided a meaning you were missing, according to the Spanish Dictionary; a meaning which looks plausible in your context. It is impossible and useless to try to assess how canonically a specific orthopedic professional uses Castilian. Best.

Asker: Thanks for suggesting something, but I don't see how "no attachments" fits in a report about lack of findings in a physical examination. Can you explain or provide examples showing how this is used in English medical writing in this context?

Asker: Hi MPGS. Thanks for your reply. The main thing for me is precisely to try to understand what this person means, in a medical context in Mexico, by his phrase "sin agregados." It's a clinical issue ... the DRAE definition doesn't help me. (Just wrote to this doctor directly, by the way ... I hope he'll take the time to explain!)
