Hello colleagues, First of all, let me guess you'll think this is a primary school question, but although I have done it before I just can't remember how to add a tm to a project. I apologize for my naive question. Happy New Year to all! Natalia

I assume you mean "how to start a new TM when starting a translation project with a new document"? This will of course depend on which particualr CAT tool you are using, and you would do best therefore to post in the relevant specific forum for your particular CAT tool.

Hi Toni, Thank you very much for answering. My question is: can I add a TM when the project is already uploaded in Trados? Cheers! Natalia
Hi Natalia - the way I would do it is to go into Project Settings, either in the Projects View or in the Editor View, and under 'Translation Memory and Automated' click on either 'Create' or 'Use' depending on whether you want to create a new TM or apply an existing one. Hope this helps! Irene

Hi Natalia, Open the Trados project and in the translation interface (when you can see the original text and type your translation), in the upper corner on the left, there is a "project settings" button. Go then to "Language pairs" --> "All language pairs" and there you can add an existing TM. I hope this will help you.

[Edited at 2017-01-04 07:21 GMT] Hi, I had the same problem and managed to solve it by following your steps. By I don't understand why do I need to select "All language pairs" instead of the languge pair that I am currently working on. What is the difference?
