Well, firstly, ProZ.com's outdated forum software hid some of what you wrote: <cmn=1> [134103] 在不在[图片] <eng=1> Are you there [picture icon] <cmn=2> [131226] 在 <eng=2> Yes <cmn=3> [131226] 我去找你? <eng=3> Can I come see you? <cmn=4> [131226] 你忙吗? <eng=4> Are you busy? <cmn=5> [134103] 好的,你来吧 <eng=5> OK, you can come <cmn=6> [131226] 等我喝完这杯豆浆 <eng=6> Let me finish this glass of Soy milk <cmn=7> [134103] 帮我带两杆签字笔来 <eng=7> Can you help bring me two signature pens Secondly, if your file already contains translations, then I can't help you, but if the file is still fully untranslated, then you can put the file in e.g. MS Word (if MS Word can handle those characters) and convert your file to this format: <cmn=1> [134103] 在不在[图片] <eng=1> [134103] 在不在[图片] <cmn=2> [131226] 在 <eng=2> [131226] 在 <cmn=3> [131226] 我去找你? <eng=3> [131226] 我去找你? <cmn=4> [131226] 你忙吗? <eng=4> [131226] 你忙吗? <cmn=5> [134103] 好的,你来吧 <eng=5> [134103] 好的,你来吧 <cmn=6> [131226] 等我喝完这杯豆浆 <eng=6> [131226] 等我喝完这杯豆浆 <cmn=7> [134103] 帮我带两杆签字笔来 <eng=7> [134103] 帮我带两杆签字笔来 and then mark all "CMN" lines as hidden text. Then just translate it in Trados, and after you create the final Word file, change all text to "non-hidden". Use Dual-Language Document Assistant (part of TransTools for Word add-in) to convert the source text into source text + copy of source text underneath. For this, use the second option called "Convert to Dual-Language Text" and under Options choose Paragraph Break as separator. Also specify the option to apply yellow highlighting to the right side so the copy placed underneath is highlighted in a specific color. Then use Hide / Unhide Text command to hide everything except highlighted text. Import the file into Studio, translate, export, then use Hide / Unhide Text command again choosing the option to unhide all text. You will now have a finished file. According to Samuel's additions, you will also need to replace cmn with eng in every other line so that the English lines have "eng" parameter. Both of these tools are free. If yes, then translate the document as usual, and then choose Review - Export for external review, choose the "top-down" layout and click Finish. You will get exactly what you need: you may delete the first column, and remove the colors in Word.

Ask your client whether he would accept to have it in a column layout, one column Chinese and one column English. This would be much easier.
